Well, Sony DSC-WX500 is a brilliant camera! Many videographers love it as a great all around tool. But, is there an easy way that allows easy import XAVC S files into Adobe Premiere Pro directly, without having to use or open Sony's lousy Content Browser or other complex plug-ins. I’m seeking the Sony DSC-WX500 XAVC S to Premiere Pro best workflow.

As far as I know, Media Browser is a helpful tool for users to import XAVC S files to Premiere, though it has a high requirement against computer configuration, operating environment and editing software version. I’ve tried it, but it didn’t help me move my Sony WX500 XAVC S videos to Adobe Premiere smoothly. Since the highest picture resolution and frame rate video compression codec is much more than a video format that Premiere can support, the best workaround to transfer Sony WX500 footage to Adobe Premiere is to convert XAVC-S to MPEG-2, the most compatible video format for Adobe Premiere (no matter Premiere Pro CC, CS6, CS5, or CS4). Brorsoft Video Converter for Mac is highly recommended here.

The program is an easy-to-use yet professional Sony XAVC S Converter for Mac. It’s able to convert XAVC S files from Sony DSC-WX500 to Adobe Premiere Pro more compatible MPEG-2 video. With it, you may also encode XAVC-S to Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, FCE, iMovie and more NLE programs highly compatible formats for editing. If you meet the XAVC S codec issues in Adobe Premiere on Windows PC, please get Brorsoft Video Converter to solve the problem.
