Fast and Losslessly way to Get MOV work with Pinnacle Studio 17/16/15

MOV, a container format, may also contain any number of audio, video, and even subtitle streams. So it is impossible to determine the type of video, audio codec in an MOV file based on its filename extension alone. Therefore, you may have some clues that why people always meet difficulty in importing MOV into Pinnacle Stuido

So if you are unable to locate your MOV files into Pinnacle Studio, then you need to find another way to perform the task.

How to import MOV to Pinnacle Studio 15/16/17.5

Step 1: Load MOV video files to the converting program by clicking “Add” button, or drag the videos to the software directly. If you like, check the “Merge into one” box to join MOV clips together.

Step 2:Click “Format” bar and choose "Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas > MPEG-2 (*.mpg)” as output format on the drop-down menu. Of course, you can also choose AVI, MP4, WMV from “Common Video” as the output format.

Tip: Click the Settings icon to adjust video and audio parameters on the Profile Setting as you need to get the best quality video.

Step 3: Simply click the "Convert" button to start converting and everything else will be automated. If you have added quite a bunch of video files, it would take some time to convert. In such case, you can click Option and tick the box “Shut down the computer after conversion”.

You're done. Now your MOV files will be converted into MPEG-2 files ready to be imported to Pinnacle Studio beautifully.
